Nutri Listo

Nutri Listo is a milk peanut butter that closes all nutritional gaps in a typical Guatemalan diet and kids love to eat! Roughly half of all children in Guatemala suffer from chronic malnutrition, which irreversibly damages their cognitive and physical growth.

Nutri Listo has been co-developed by the globally renowned nutrition research institute, INCAP, based on its latest finding on the specific, local nutritional deficiencies. Later, we perfected the taste and presentation by implementing the feedback of hundreds of families across Guatemala.

The hard work paid off because families love Nutri Listo, and we can ensure that it is an excellent addition to their diets.

Nutri Listo doesn't replace a meal or a balanced diet. Still, one Nutri Listo per day provides all of the vitamins and minerals necessary to support physical and mental development.

We're proud that Nutri Listo can help to make kids grow up healthy and strong, contributing to a tomorrow with more opportunities for all.

Desarollo Nutri Listo

Nutri Listo is developed in Guatemala, by Guatemalans, for Guatemalans!

Families from across the country offered their help to jointly make the best high nutrition supplement for their children.

We made hundreds of iterations, finally arriving at a product we know is loved and helps to foster healthy growth and development.

It’s ready-to-eat!

Kids and moms love Nutri Listo because it tastes good and is ready-to-eat! Unlike other supplements, Nutri Listo can be eaten straight out of the packet. Moms also love to combine it with fruit, encouraging kids to eat their fruits.

It requires no clean water or heat to prepare - improving accessibility and ease!

Prueba de Aceptabilidad Nutri Listo

Acceptability Test

The Institute of Nutrition for Central America and Panama conducted a test of acceptability (of Nutri Listo) in rural and urban areas. The results of the tests indicated that the acceptability of Nutri Listo is equally high between mothers and children and is easily consumed at home.

This study was supported by the Guatemalan Foundation Against Hunger and the Wuqu’ Kawoq Maya Health Alliance organization.

Stability and Sustainability

Our vision is that baby food, that prevents and treats chronic malnutrition, should be affordable and accessible for everyone in the entire country.

In Guatemala, more than 1 million of children below the age of 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition. For this reason, we chose a market-based approach so that we can reach thousands of families every day and continue to exponentially grow our reach and impact.

We successfully collaborate with numerous organizations and hospitals throughout the country and always welcome new partnerships. Together we implement highly effective nutritional programs and multiply their impact. Meanwhile, we are testing our products in the free market and creating sustainable solutions to contribute to the elimination of chronic child malnutrition in Guatemala.
