Prof. Ted Fisher - Founder of Maní+, Mentor

Ted invented the Mani+ product in 2009 that helped thousands of children and maintains an active role in the new company, Listo. He is on expert panels on malnutrition for the Gates Foundation and the World Health Organization.

Ted is also a professor of anthropology at Vanderbilt University, TN, USA.

Ted has worked in Guatemala for over 20 years.

DR. MANOLO MAZARIEGOS - KEY ADVISOR

Dr. Manolo is the Coordinator of the Nutrition and Micronutrient División and a specialist in maternal and infant health & nutrition at the Institute of Nutrition for Central America and Panama (INCAP). He has more than 25 years of experience leading clinical, nutritional, and public health projects. He is an invaluable resource and adviser to Listo. He has done all of the micronutrient formulation for our products.

Penny Rambacher, R.D.N.

Penny Rambacher is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certified with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in the USA. She is also the Founder of Miracles in Action, a 501C3 organization dedicated to promoting nutrition, health, and education in Guatemala. As part of their mission, Miracles in Action supports Nutri Listo's vision of creating and distributing healthy snacks for Base of the Pyramid Families who currently cannot access and afford healthy foods for their children. Through her leadership, Miracles in Action strives to prevent and reverse the devastating effects of stunting and malnutrition in children, particularly in extreme poverty communities.

MD Ph.D. Peter Rohloff

Peter is a Pediatrician and serves as the Chief Medical Officer at the Wuqu' Kawoq Mayan Health Alliance. He is also an Assistant Professor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and is affiliated with the Departments of General Internal Medicine and Global Health Equity at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Peter’s interests lie at the intersection of indigenous language advocacy and global health delivery in Guatemala conducting groundbreaking mixed-methods research. He speaks English, Spanish, Kaqchikel, and K’iche’.

Raxche’ Rodriguez

Raxche’ dedicates his life to promote Mayan rights and social equality. He was one of the main contributors to the bilingual education reform in Guatemala, which introduced Mayan languages into the school curriculum.

Since 30 years, he is also the Editorial Director of Maya' Wuj and develops learning software and books to learn Kaqchikel and K’iche’.

José Antonio Bagur

José built Guatemala's first satellite. He is also a professor at the Universidad Del Valle in Guatemala and runs his own Social Business, MABlabs. José hands-on helps and advises us on all technical aspects of our business, so that LISTO can be a truly modern, innovative, and scalable social business.
